OP&F In-Person Training Registration

As part of OP&F’s continued efforts to prepare for the transition to our new pension administration system, tentatively planned for October 2026, we are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the August Employer Portal Training sessions.

Over the past several months, OP&F has shared transition resources, FAQs, readiness checklists, and other guidance to help employers prepare for upcoming changes. These August training sessions are designed to provide hands-on experience with the new Employer Portal and help employers prepare for go-live.

What You’ll Practice During Training

During these sessions, employers will work through guided activities and demonstrations covering:

• Employer Portal navigation

• Member Data Reporting (MDR)

• Work History Reporting (WHR)

• Validations and review of results

• Reports and confirmations

• Corrections and payroll adjustments

• Payments and invoice-related activities

• Support and next steps

By the end of the session, participants should have a better understanding of how to complete core reporting and payment activities in the new Employer Portal and where to go for help after training.

Who Should Attend

These sessions are recommended for individuals responsible for employer reporting and related activities, including:

• Fiscal Officers

• Payroll Staff

• Human Resources Staff

• Employer Portal Administrators

• Other staff involved in employer reporting, payroll processing, or member data maintenance

Attendance is strongly encouraged for individuals who will be responsible for reporting, maintaining member data, or supporting Employer Portal activities after go-live.

Session Dates and Locations

Employers only need to attend one session. The same training content will be delivered at each location. Training sessions are scheduled for:

• August 18, 2026 – Cleveland (Beachwood)

• August 20, 2026 – Toledo (Perrysburg)

• August 25, 2026 – Columbus (Lewis Center)

• August 27, 2026 – Cincinnati (Sharonville)

Registration

Registration for the Employer Portal Training sessions is available through the Employer Knowledge Hub. Please select the date and location that best meets your organization's needs.

To support fair access across employers, initial registration is limited to two attendees per employer. Additional attendees may be accommodated if space becomes available after the initial registration period.

Space is limited, and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until each session reaches capacity.

Additional Training Preparation Information

Additional readiness information, including Employer Portal access instructions, authentication guidance, technology requirements, and training preparation materials, will be shared prior to training.
