Board Report, September 2026

OP&F’s new pension system will launch Oct. 1

The new OP&F member and employer portals will be live as of Oct. 1, after a multi-year project to upgrade the previous system.

The modern, paperless portal allows members access to pension information, tools and resources previously unavailable. Likewise, OP&F employers will have an upgraded system for submitting payroll and member information to the pension system. While the experience has changed, your pension remains secure, and your pension plan has not changed. As with any transition of this magnitude, the Board discussed that there will be frustration and a learning period and asks everyone to be patient as the process continues to bring about an enhanced member experience.

Through the new Member Portal, participants can:

·         Review pension information and beneficiaries.

·         Update contact information and communication preferences.

·         Upload documents and complete pension-related transactions securely.

·         Estimate future pension benefits and access retirement planning resources.

·         Link to the Retiree Health Solutions website.

·         Manage your retiree HRA.

 PORTFOLIO UPDATE

·       As of 9/29:                                     $22.1 billion

·       End of August:                             $22.7 billion

·       End of July:                                   $22.2 billion
