DROP distributions to be paused between Sept. 17 through Oct. 16
OP&F members who are enrolled in the Deferred Retirement Option Plan (DROP) will not be able to receive distributions from their accruals between Sept. 17 through Oct. 16 this year due to the implementation of OP&F’s new pension administration system. Members should plan ahead if a distribution is needed during these dates and submit DROP Distribution Request Form by the following dates: For requests of more than $300K, forms need received by Aug. 17. Requests less than $300K are due by Aug. 31. Beginning Oct. 1, distribution requests will be processed through new system for first payment on Oct. 16.
