OP&F data remains safe in wake of FOP breach

On Feb. 4, OP&F was notified of a data breach involving some computer systems, managed by the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), one in Nashville and one in Columbus.

These unauthorized acts may have exposed some personal information of OP&F members who are also in the FOP, such as names and addresses. Various law enforcement divisions, including the FBI, are investigating.

While the situation will continue to be monitored, members should be aware that the personal information within OP&F is protected and all steps are taken to provide the most secure system possible. OP&F has alerted staff members to be especially cautious during this time to ensure no unauthorized data is compromised.
